Loudmouth Soup

Starring Kevin Chamberlin (Jesse, The Addams Family, Seussical) and James Tupper (Revenge, Mercy, Big Little Lies).

Using 7 cameras on 6 actors and shot in one night with no script. Loudmouth Soup centers on a couple celebrating the sale of their first film after they've moved to L.A. Feeling like fish out of water and intent on making new friends, they decide to host a dinner party where no one will be allowed to talk business. Keith (James Tupper), a new acquaintance of Catherine's, arrives first, flirting with Catherine and annoying Jason. Soon after, Charlie (Kevin Chamberlin), a producer who has optioned Jason's new script, arrives with his assistant, Kim. Blake, an indie film star, gets the last seat and the six of them settle into a weird, tense dining session filled with the hyperbolic movie-talk that only exists in L.A. When a surprise guest knocks on the door, the party takes an unexpected turn. Featuring a veteran cast of television, film, and stage actors including Nancy Bell, Michael Reed, Melanie Chapman and Kit Pongetti. In the tradition of John Cassavetes.
